How I like to work

I'm happiest in the backend, sitting with the people who run a process until I understand it, then designing the system around what they actually do.

Alongside the enterprise work I've built public products people use every day, like And1 Nepal, Job Sewa and Daily Sewa.

  1. I write decisions down

Short decision records and project guides mean the next developer can find the reasoning without having to find me.

  2. I'd rather be readable than clever

Clear layering, consistent naming and small changes that are easy to review.

  3. I build things that can be debugged at 2am

Structured logs, sensible retries on jobs and database calls, and deployments you can reason about from the logs.

What I work with

Mostly C# and ASP.NET Core Web API with EF Core, on MSSQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle. For live data I reach for WebSockets, Server-Sent Events and background services. On the front end I use Next.js and Svelte, with Flutter for mobile. I still maintain Web Forms and Razor Pages apps, ship with Azure DevOps, PowerShell and Docker, and have built games in Unity.

Where I've worked

2025 to Sep 2026

Senior .NET Developer, Elite Technologies

LifeSafer (SCRAM Systems, USA)

New platform features, the TaskServer and State Reporting backends, real-time partner data feeds and WebSocket device links.

Monster Sweeps

2019 to 2025

Senior Software Engineer, Professional Computer Systems

Lalitpur, Nepal

Modernising

Led the VB share registry migration (30% better performance and UX). Built accounting software for the Nepal Tourism Board and ICAN (40% less manual work) and an HR system for ICAN (50% more efficient).

Integrating

APIs for an open-ended mutual fund system (25% better interoperability) and multiple payment and wallet gateways (15% higher success rate).

Designing and running

ERP architecture that cut operational costs by 20%, database-independent builds that cut deployment time by 35%, and 99.9% uptime on the fund platform.

BTech Computer Science, Kalinga University, Raipur (2013 to 2018). Grade A.

Hiring for a .NET role? I'd love to hear about it.

I'm happy to walk through any of these systems, including what I'd do differently now. References on request.
